Why is Prince Andrew being made to eat shit now rather than at any point in the last decade? His connections to Epstein and complicity in the abuse have been well known for a while. For the arrest they cite "leaking confidential information" which could be based on new information but he had bismirched the good name of the Royal Family (may God save them) a long time ago. So they could have at least stripped him of his royal titles.

AFAIK he already has been stripped of royal titles which is why the UK media apparently just refers to him as "Andrew"? In any case he and all the others facing consequences are scapegoats and mostly non-Americans. The powers that be seem content to let guys like him sizzle in the pan to create the impression of justice being served. This is all speculation on my part though. How funny would it be if the US just exported all of the consequences for all this to other oligarchs in the bloc and that's what actually causes a permanent fracture in alliances lol

The royalty stripping is also pretty recent. From this December I think.

The recent emails prove that he used state money to purchase girls from Epstein. So basically they couldn't afford to ignore it. He's a second son and the royal family is known to throw those under the bus when convenient. Also, makes the public eye turn on him instead of the dozens of other British politicians, rich, aristocrats and celebrities that partied with Epstein

Former Prince, like the artist formerly formerly known as Prince.

Nah I won't let them unprince him for the noncery which is a basic prerequisite for being a british monarch. I will always call him prince.

Because PM Starmer is facing a public backlash to Andrew and other UK elites being mixed up in the recent document dumps. It's not for justice, it's to save face.
