Misconduct in public office is so vague that could literally be anything, I think they got him with something very serious and unforgivable but are still trying to shield the royal family from a bombshell, they might release the truth slowly and controlled.

It'll be the emails where he sends his trade envoy reports straight to Epstein within 5 minutes of receiving them. That's absolutely watertight and they will throw the book at him for it.

Hopefully they will be able to add further charges as they go.
