- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Honestly, whether I agree with him or not, it's refreshing to have a progressive leader actually attempting to be persuasive in his campaign, rather than just "Look how bad my opponent is! I promise to do all the things you like and none of the things you don't like, depending on what those things are and the context of the decision."
Lmao I mean, that's pretty much exactly what Democrats ran on in 2024.

People are mad at you because you're accurately describing reality.
Have to agree here for the most part. Not every Democrat does this, but too many of them rely on it too much; especially Kamala Harris which is why she lost.
It's exactly why she lost; neo-liberalism failed all of us and made way for the further delegitimization of international law and gave rise to fascism.
I either got ratioed because people don't understand that this is exactly what I'm saying (you certainly do)
Or they need to wake the fuck up or get out of the way.
She was a classic 80s/90s hard on crime neoliberal at that! Nobody wants to vote for that shit anymore.
