Honestly even if you don't give a fuck about the climate, rice and beams will feed you for less than 1€ per meal ✴️

(though you probably should "splurge" on some spices and/or sauces if you plan on eating the same thing for every meal, no matter what it happens to be)

Definitely buy a variety of spices, but don't underestimate the different flavor profile of different types of beans
