Everyone from the billionaire class looks so weird. Just weird unhinged people saying weird unhinged stuff. Mind boggling that they manage to keep convincing people capitalism is a meritocracy when these little freakshows are out here like this on the daily
This is what happens when we have a class of people so detached from the rest of us that they don't have anyone around to tell them to stop chatting shit and sort themselves out.
They simply live in a different stratum of society. They get to paint themselves as categorically moral, intelligent, diligent people. At the same time, they are essentially free from accountability and scrutiny. They do have plenty of people around them: people who share their views/morals, at least to an extent that they will choose profit and power over honesty, integrity, compassion, and restraint. People who platform these idiots and pay to hear them blather on.
We call those people "capitalists".
