Inventing Reality

I disagree heavily with this. By incorrectly defining socialism as "imperial-core welfare" policies (IE keep the health care, keep the wars), socdems are mis-educating people and creating a bloc of nativist, imperial-core chauvinists who want even more priviledges at the expense of the world's workers.

Real socialists are not afraid to tell people that there is a larger struggle that exists outside their country's borders, and that the minority of priviledged imperial-core workers should not be living better than most of the world's workers. We should advocate the destruction of the US empire and an end to all wars, not its preservation and the continuation of war, as Bernie and AOC advocate for.
