Not really bashing the collection of figures. It's good to have a hobby and building models is rewarding for some. Vidya games is something everyone loves. Consuming slop is what we all do, so no issues with the slop-center either. Just. The lights. Everything that isn't a toy is grey. The suspicious of a kitchen or bathroom in the supposed highlight of his home. Slop me up buttercup.

I have friends who own their own home and at first I thought this was literally their place, only way I can tell it isn't is because there aren't cat toys and dirty clothes everywhere (It was awful to be there when they first moved in, but it feels a little more "lived in" now, and they have more interesting decorations now).

I don't understand this decorating mindset, where everything has to be derivative of some kind of product. Maybe I don't get it as an "artsy" person because all the artistically and musically inclined people I know decorate their homes with paintings and knickknacks from places they've been, stuff with sentimental value.

I suppose that's what the movie posters and lego millennium falcons and funko pops are to these people, they are sentimental, because some people mostly experience the world through their tv screens, through fiction.

I was not expecting to feel sad about a pretty standard millennial living room and study today, but here we are.
