Not really bashing the collection of figures. It's good to have a hobby and building models is rewarding for some. Vidya games is something everyone loves. Consuming slop is what we all do, so no issues with the slop-center either. Just. The lights. Everything that isn't a toy is grey. The suspicious of a kitchen or bathroom in the supposed highlight of his home. Slop me up buttercup.
Looking more closely I might have judged too harshly, asthetically at least, if he likes the 'art' he has then that's what's important, if they had some lamps with better lighting tone, a nicer rug to contrast the gray, a plant or two or just anything that feels organic. If the kitchen was nice and felt more 'lived-in' it could make up for it a bit.
