Not really bashing the collection of figures. It's good to have a hobby and building models is rewarding for some. Vidya games is something everyone loves. Consuming slop is what we all do, so no issues with the slop-center either. Just. The lights. Everything that isn't a toy is grey. The suspicious of a kitchen or bathroom in the supposed highlight of his home. Slop me up buttercup.

When my wife and I first got into subsidized housing after being unhoused, we had two of those red folding camp chairs as our only furniture for several months. They were second-hand and they were given to us for free. As for the shitty depressing wall colours, I guarantee you that someone who can't afford furniture is not living in a place where they can afford to paint it, or are even allowed to (landlords fucking hate letting you paint things, and they always choose the most depressing colour to mass paint their units).
