Not really bashing the collection of figures. It's good to have a hobby and building models is rewarding for some. Vidya games is something everyone loves. Consuming slop is what we all do, so no issues with the slop-center either. Just. The lights. Everything that isn't a toy is grey. The suspicious of a kitchen or bathroom in the supposed highlight of his home. Slop me up buttercup.

Every shelf should and flat surface should have a godzilla then we're approaching something I'd call a liveable, attractive décor

Edit: okay so he has a room with shelves for figures and I'm guessing some are also dinosaurs and it's just... still drab. It's not the content it's rhe uniformity of the layout, but still it's clean and well organised so points for that

They could have at least chosen any Godzilla other than the US one.

Yeah, the grim drab godzilla doesn't really stand out. I spoke to some of my Japanese friends and they were, for want of a better word, nonplussed by the American Godzilla. To them, they said he's a protector of Japan against other kaiju, not this unthinking beast. I've got the original book out from the library, curious to see how Godzilla was depicted there (the preface is clear that it's an antinuclear story)

Sometimes he's a protector, sometimes not. It depends on the movie as they're mostly all stand alone.

That's what I love about Japanese Godzilla, sometimes you get more serious stuff like Minus One, other times you get absolute cheese like Final Wars.

Dirty Owl talking like their favourite isn't Godzooky.

My favourite movie is Goncharov

Yeah it's really bad. The user is in the comments saying the drab grey and cold lights let the toys stand out and it just... doesn't. Interior design is difficult, no problem there, but this is just depressing.
