Amongst all the shit Ukraine seems to be the only country left with an actually functioning democracy where corrupt politicians can still face consequences.

I think they just don’t have the overhead to put up with corruption right now.

Yeah I'm pretty sure dealing with corruption is a fairly recent thing there.
