Short answer: No proof.
Long answer, assuming a suspected cover-up: The story goes she was crushed to death by a horse she was trying to fuck. Her body lay in state for weeks and lots of people saw it - not something you'd do with a smashed-up corpse, at least not without people noticing and documenting.
The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence
I mean we don't know for sure that Rumsfeld didn't come up with the horse-fucking rumor to somehow justify the invasion of Iraq.
