It's a reversal of Ford's early strategy of electrifying its most iconic, priciest vehicles first, betting that brand loyalty and subsidies would offset sticker shock.

Dont forget that Ford spent the last several years producing $90k trucks and $55k SUVs with 250 miles of range in PERFECT conditions.

If you arent going to innovate through mileage capacity, you must make up for it elsewhere: longevity, performance, or value.

Make the price approachable for anyone.

And by the way. Fix the problems in your existing line. Hey Ford: if you didnt know, the HVAC system in all of your F150's, including the Lightning, abaolutely sucks ass.
