I didn't make this, but it made sense to me when I pictured the endgame scenario of a king escorting a pawn all the way to promotion.

It depends on whose turn it is. If it's black's turn in this position, white will win. If it's white's turn, I believe it's a draw.

Cool, that's what I thought. I know the "opposition" rule of thumb and can visualize the win for white, but I always have trouble visualizing the defending king's stall.

Nope, king escorts pawn across the board, pawn gets promoted to queen, king and queen work together to get checkmate.

The only danger of stalemate is after the pawn gets promoted, and even then it's easy to avoid if you know what you're doing

Queen and pawn maybe? I just don't associate the speed/range of a motorcycle/shotgun with a king. Protection until promotion makes a lot of sense though. That being said, it's just a meme. Thanks for sharing!
