Ah, so anyone with a phd in a high-value field and a binder full of accolades is able to apply for competitive grants.
But they still haven't opened the gates to ordinary americans seeking refugee status, have they?
More than obvious that they'd rather allow Ukrainians than rednecks in.
I don't blame them, but rednecks aren't the ones trying to flee the US. Lots of vulnerable people don't have a high level of specialized education.
