Windows hit its lowest market share in decades, Microsoft lost $400 billion in a week, and now their own president is admitting they need to fix the OS. SteamOS and Linux aren't waiting around.

Surface 4 sucks on w11. Mint is also a great choice. That's what I'm using on mine at home. My only complaint is hardware, either the battery is finally falling or it has weird parasitic draw.

My battery died years ago so that's no thing for me. It's a bed and shed laptop, I've got mains power in both those places.

Replacing the battery is no joke. I spent a few hours on the task, but I was bouncing between that and several other things.
