LOL false dichotomy attempt.
Cheap and embarrassing.
As I said to some other conspiracy theorist on here:
Show me** evidence** from credible sources.
I'm sure this will be the last I hear from you LOL.

There are significantly more of them, too; 85 in all. So many that Lemmy doesn't let me paste them all in one comment. And this is only from the 2024 election. To quote someone insufferable:

I'm sure this will be the last I hear from you LOL.

NYT, WaPO,etc.....
LOL those are your credible US regime sources?
Man you're a clown.
Also you're switching accounts again, Eglin Airforce Base incompetence

[–] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 0 points 6 hours ago

US regime sources

Oh, you're one of those. So when you say "credible source," what you really mean is "source I already agree with." Meaning that, to you, there is no credible source. I guess that means no, there is no proof that will satisfy you. Cool. You've just religioned your way into unfalsifiability, I guess.

you're switching accounts again

Sure, believe what you want to believe. Clearly I have multiple sock puppet accounts on Lemmy to have random arguments with people about whether or not Russia did something to affect the US Presidential Election. I can't honestly comprehend why you think I might be doing that.

Read the fucking Mueller Report. Like, actually read it.

Or is that not a good enough source either?

[–] Bloomcole@lemmy.world 0 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

It's a US REGIME SOURCE.
Even worse than the regime press mouthpieces.
Obviously far from impartial.
And I'm not wasting my time reading all that.
But even then, If you actually read it I'm sure you can show me EVIDENCE for just one of all these claims I'm prepared to hear it.
As I asked 3 times and you failed to provide it 3 times.

[–] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 1 points 5 hours ago

Obviously far from impartial.

Right--it has every interest in making it seem like the government's not being affected by outside interests. They're not impartial--they're biased in the other direction. And they still admit that the Russian government interfered in US elections.

Are you even listening to yourself?

If you actually read it I'm sure you can show me EVIDENCE for just one of all these claims

I provided a whole list of evidence that you discarded because it didn't meet with your purity test. But sure, here's more. The Mueller Report includes documents that:

  • report a Russian operative calling their work on the 2016 US election "information warfare";

  • show how Russia actually began operations in the US to destabilize the 2016 election two years earlier;

  • detail the fake social media accounts that promoted Trump or divided Americans using fake hashtags like "#KidsForTrump";

  • give evidence for the IRA setting up a 2015 Confederate rally in Houston, as well as a 2016 Trump rally in Miami which Trump himself promoted;

  • prove that the GRU hacked the DNC and the Clinton campaign, releasing files to WikiLeaks--in one case, only five hours after Trump publicly asked them to do so;

  • record a Trump associate's email to Michael Cohen: "Buddy, our boy can become president of the USA, and we can engineer it. I will get all of Putin's team to buy in on this."

Plus, outside of the Mueller Report, the Roger Stone, Rick Gates, Michael Flynn, and Paul Manafort cases include, on the record, evidence of Russian collusion.

So I'm not sure what else I can tell you here. It's pretty well-established and clear that Russia has been working to influence US elections for at least a decade now. To pretend otherwise would require some absolutely wild rejection of unbiased facts.

Now, none of this means that Israel isn't also trying to influence US elections. They very clearly are. But more than one country can be doing such a thing.
