  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

Several niche, left-leaning gun advocacy groups said that since the killing of Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minneapolis, they can hardly keep up with the surging demand for firearms training.

With Donald Trump sending armed federal agents into communities around the country, even more once gun-shy liberals and leftists are considering getting armed.

And while Americans tend to think of gun owners as leaning more Republican and male, already more women, gay people and people of color have taken up arms in recent years, particularly after 2020.

They hate being told no, they want to ride on the coattails of everyone else's work without contributing anything.

Uh huh sure, it's everyone else that's the problem, couldn't possibly be you. It's not like you're judgemental or anything at all.

[–] ClassStruggle@lemmy.ml 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I have that right to judge based on historical patterns of liberals. They can't be trusted and more than conservatives. The major difference though is conservatives will tell you to your face who they are, liberals will pose as allies until it's no longer convenient

Man you really don't comprehend the idea that people can change their mind or be convinced or converted, can you?

So your game plan is to, what, be shitty to everyone who isn't the exact level of left you are, and with that tiny fraction of the population you'll somehow set up a revolution and new communist society, even though most people aren't into it and you don't have the power to keep it, especially because you alienated everyone else?

Yeah great plan, WBCommunist

Some can be changed, all the others want to work within the system we have which isn't working. Reform is a surefire path to failure. Government could be 99% Democrat and they would blame that 1% for nothing getting accomplished.

[–] agent_nycto@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Cool so why are you pushing away people who can be changed? It's dumb.

[–] ClassStruggle@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The ones with questions can be changed, the ones that can't are the ones charging in with all the answers. The ones with the answers are the ones I'll be hostile with. Those are the ones that don't want to change the systems, they demand that we change to be more like them. Their anger stems from the fact that we refuse to move to the right with them

[–] agent_nycto@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

And you'll never know which one is which because you're pushing everyone away from your movement. Good 👏 job 👏

[–] ClassStruggle@lemmy.ml 0 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

I've been at this a long time. I can always pin point those willing to help and those who want to control the direction and the narrative.

[–] agent_nycto@lemmy.world 0 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

No, you really can't. You're a judgemental prick who purposefully pushes everyone out. This whole time you've been saying that liberals suck, new people shouldn't join leftist gun places, and talked about wide swaths of people negatively. You can't turn around and claim to be judging on individual merits, because you clearly don't. You're worse for communism than McCarthy era propaganda, you give it a bad name.

[–] ClassStruggle@lemmy.ml 1 points 9 hours ago

If they didnt suck they wouldn't be liberals. They are upholding capitalism with the oppression and white supremacy that comes with it. Those that start to question their place in all that and seek guidance are different. Most liberals come into our spaces and demand we submit to their failed ideas. They are not welcome
