For2026, Just about finished with the latest dungeon crawler Carl. Much fun, as usual. Before that, I just finished Brandon Sanderson‘s tailored realities, which also, fantastic for a collection of short stories. Ended 2025 with David Brin’s The Postman. I’m going to read it again, but there’s so much there, that story needs its own thread

I haven't read it, but several of my anime/manga acquaintances have read DCC and it seems like it is about as LN-adjacent as you can get in western literature. It's been recommended to me a couple times now.
