Tyson is a weird dude. Has a tattoo of Mao and says he admires him, has read his little red book. Has a tattoo of Che Guevara, read about communism while he was in prison and said he was a Marxist. No idea what we actually took away from any of that or if it played any part in his life aside from "I admire these dudes because they got shit done", but he also never turns down a paycheck. Honestly, no idea what this dude's actual ideals are other than gangster-spongebob

he does stuff for money basically regardless of his beliefs. he did a charity event for IDF or Israel or whatever and he threw his fight with whatever Paul brother (all fights vs pro or ex pro fighters are fixed btw), both to make money. When accused of throwing the fight Tyson said something like "we are all dust", which basically means it doesn't matter.

I don't consider myself a Tyson/Paul truther, but yeah, there was a split second there in the first round where he looked like he was going to lay into him. Maybe not Iron Mike style, but some distant metallic cousin, like ruthenium or maybe vanadium, which would still have been more than enough to rock Jake's shit.

I would sell out too tbh. Probably wouldn't rape a woman and beat several otherwomen like him though

Ridiculous amounts of money and clocking in at the CTE factory for years probably doesn't help you have a coherent ideology.

My first instinct would be to say it's a case of Eldridge Cleaver ("Hardline" Marxist swerving rightward, selling out) but Tyson might earnestly believe this shit (money helps warping minds of course) while still believing he is part of the Real Movement. Which still isn't great.
