I like to put pineapple on pizza I make at home. But I buy fresh pineapple. Canned pineapple is just too bland.
Canned pineapple is also too ... Liquidy? It gets the juices everywhere making the whole pizza taste like canned pineapple and not a nice combination of the salty flavours of pizza with the nice sweet complimentary flavour of pineapple. I specifically only accept home made hawaii pizza because of this fact.
... But i dont like sweet flavours on pizza. I like em on the salty or cheesy side, so maybe thats why?
