Wherever OP is, the U.S. is probably already there, in some capacity. You can say it's not an invasion, but could you ever really make us leave?
As a Canadian who has served in the CAF, I will not hesitate to defend my country to American invaders.
These people will not be contained to the usa.
You have allies in the states. Don’t abandon them.
I have several allies. Most of them LGBTQ+. If shit goes down we're getting them to apply for asylum here.
