You might laugh at the thought that industrialists opposed communism and socialism and in doing so enabled fascism in the mistaken belief they could control the monster they made.

But I guess moving goalposts from “The West looked the other way because they liked it!” to “Actually, I was just talking about industrialists IN Germany 🥺” is a lot easier than constructing a coherent argument.
