South Koreans freedumb groups used to launch balloons over the DMZ with USB sticks with drama shows on them. People got offed for possessing them and they were asked to stop doing it.
How true even is that? Where did you get that information? I mean maybe it's true, I'm not sure. I'm not even saying it would have been unjustifiable if true. But when you just toss something like that out there, I'm going to want to see some evidence that isn't from, for example, "Amnesty" fuckin' International, or any western outlet that has any stake in denigrating DPRK.
I'll go ahead and say that executing people over slop possession would in fact have been unjustifiable
