Civ will never have a serious group of new fans ever again

Old fans will hardly play 7, 8, and especially beyond

Jessie, what the fuck are you talking about?

Old fans have played Civ games the exact same way for 2 decades now... Wait a couple years after release, usually after 1 or 2 major DLC's and buy it at 70% off during a Steam Sale.

I am absolutely planning on playing 7 eventually, and I'll look forward to playing 8 eventually too. But not until the time is right.
