I find it weird how these articles always say 'x person founded reddit' when projects like that always have multiple founders. I think its important that readers see the verb co-founded so that people have realistic goals and expectations in their own projects. And it also seems sort of misinformation-y to do otherwise.
In the tech world we often see one entrepreneur buy out the others and then try to bury the lede regarding the other fews' involvement. E.g Elon Musk buying Tesla, Zuckerberg taking over facebook and pushing out the other co-founders. People often accuse Spez, current reddit big dog, of trying to discredit Aaron Scwartz, the reddit cofounder who passed away and thus can't protect his legacy so well.
EDIT: Not a criticism of OP, just fortune and maybe the author of the article.
Passed away due to suicide for having the book thrown at him by the FBI for doing a tiny fraction of what each and every AI company is now doing openly and freely, it should be noted.
🪦 RIP Aaron
