When they write:

Le Pen was seen as the potential front-runner to succeed President Emmanuel Macron in the 2027 election until last year’s ruling

They actually meant:

She is pushed as a front-runner by a massive propaganda effort orchestrated by christo-fascist billionaires, Vincent Bolloré, Pierre-Emmanuel Sterin and the likes.
