What do you think of the Markiplier box office situation? Does anyone think that his Iron Lung film adaptation should've stayed on the list if the people owned the means of production?

I'll have to watch this later. But I will say I've been a fan of Mark sense octodad and Soma. I know he was over the top back in the day and still is sometimes. I will says though, the dude cares about what he does and doesn't like to half ass it.

Listening to him talk about the movie on Distractible, he has put his heart into it. I've seen things saying it's a slow burn movie, and blah blah. But the man used his money to do it, he can decide how he wants it to go. He put effort into and even if it's not a Grammy winning movie, I know at least there was heart and soul put into it. That's saying more than a lot of crap pumped out today.

I HAVEN'T even seen the Iron Lung film adaptation, but I saw the trailer, and I think the film looks pretty good. Mark has a lot of potential to be a filmmaker. Seriously!

My partner and I are celebrating 10 yrs together today. We're planning on seeing it tonight. I'm excited. We loved Edge of Sleep. It had a bit of a youtubish vibe in some ways, but the idea and seeing it playout was awesome. Even listened to it when it was a podcast. As well as In space. Got stoned and watched/played that. You can see the love and care he has for his stuff and the folks who play a role in it.

So I have no doubt we'll enjoy Iron Lung. Also, can I acknowledge how much of a good feeling it must be to have a not just any youtuber, but one of the top dogs make a full length movie outta of a small little indie game you made?
