This isn't a recommendation, but you reminded me of something. I've been meaning for a while now to watch Ken Burns presents: The West. But on a recent flight I was on, I saw someone watching what looked like some kind of documentary with Kevin Costner about the old west (which I've just looked up and see is called Kevin Costner's The West). But the problem with it is it is rife with AI slop. So every other time I looked over at what this other person was watching on his screen, I just saw slop like fake art that was supposed to pass as real art, or fake reenactments that looked like how all shitty ai videos do.

Kevin... are you ok with this in a documentary that bears your name? Buddy, you ok? It looked so shitty.
