No, I had to stack two on top of eachother or the light will shine through. The bottom one I cut from aluminium tape.

... assuming you know about upside down pineapple meaning ... (open laptop is signaling other swingers).
I think that pineapple will not be upside down when the laptop is open, that is the back lf the laptop, you can see the hinge.

So I have heard this pineapple thing a lot of times but how does one signal with the different parts of the pineapple like your image suggests?

I was disappointed when they got rid of the light up Apple but it sure makes it easier to hide.
This is a 2015 model and still has it but I'm not a fan myself. It can't even be disabled because it's lit by the display backlight.
