I’ve been a leftist gun owner for about ten years now, and I’m happy to see people on my side coming over. I still think it should be limited to well organized militias (like it says in the constitution), but that would still let states defend themselves from the federal government.
back then that idiom meant “for our rights to continue to exist, the right to use weapons will not be infringed.”
I still don't see the point of muddling what it meant then now, when the 🇺🇲 has been crushing well organized militias for centuries.
