It's popular among his base!
There is, in fact, a solid core of Trump supporters who really believe he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize and really believe he's solved 8+ wars and that he's a peacetime president. They're not the majority but I don't see how it's useful to deny the fact that these people exist. He's still losing support, but that also demonstrates that he still has support left to lose.
There may be a misunderstanding. I was talking about in lemmy and I guess you are talking in general
