Immigration enforcement is sowing chaos in Minneapolis and across the country. Democrats, elections officials and civil rights groups fear it could interfere with this November’s elections — and are scrambling for a response. They’re warning that the White House’s deployments of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol agents could act as a voter suppression tool should armed officers conduct raids at or near polling locations, scaring citizens into staying home.

DNC didn't even investigate the 2024 fraud because the optics would have been bad after 2020. Just the threat of escalation is already doing extra voter intimidation, people will refuse to register to vote before even getting to the polls because they're scared.

And it's not like most of the left can keep from purity testing for their special interest tribe long enough to agree on anything.

Not like they need to wait until you're in line at the polls to find yourself on a 3 day hold (maximum legal detainment without filing charges)

I might be sliding into nihilism. Nothing we post here matters.

Guess what, you personally can take action. One option is [ Removed by Reddit ] but that's not something I could recommend. Join mutual aid groups, learn farming, build your own local community, stock up on supplies, firearms, ammo, etc., and join the many many community groups that push their local politicians towards actual action.

The one thing I admire about MAGA is how unhinged they are and how willing they are to push their politicians with serious threats of action and really making their voice known. Liberals are pussies in that sense, and/or straight up complicit with the ruling class, and that's why America is where it is. The actual citizens of America are slowly learning how to actually push, but they haven't had to in their lifetime. Other countries put Americans to shame in pushing political change.

Look at what the Romain people did to protest Ceausescu's dictatorship. Really neat to learn about the history of People's movements.

Don't listen to me, I'm just a useful idiot getting influenced by propaganda.

All great advice I've heard before, mutual aid would be great but despite my efforts my safety net has shrunk to a tightrope while I overextended my own resources to be a safety net for others (haha, one hilarious story was my mom spending the emergency fund i had her holding for me, my sister had such a hilarious emergency needing a vacation 😂); farming knowledge is only useful with the resources to use them (currently possible, but won't result in a net positive of resources); community is amazing, lost the majority of my last friend group when a hinge friend's husband wanted to sleep with me; my pantry is growing, my mental health doesn't allow firearms, my local communities aren't friendly to my people and my people's communities aren't local.

I am working to improve my own material conditions as well as still trying to find a community that we lift each other up, instead of someone getting torn down.

But also no, I'm so tired of people. I'm so tired of how quick to violence so many people are, how ignorant so many choose to be. How much grace isn't returned, how much gratitude doesn't persist.

Hey, I've been arguing this shit online for well over a decade. The one bright side about all the manipulation and social media bots is that it validated all that effort. Apparently what we post online does matter. And they didn't like that.

yeah, stupid left! Like, they didn't even want to fund ICE to begin with!

Oh, wait . . .
