TikTok users have been deleting the app at a higher rate since the company announced that its U.S. operations would be housed in a new joint venture.

The short-form video platform’s daily average app uninstalls in the U.S. have increased nearly 150% over the past five days compared with the previous three months, market intelligence firm Sensor Tower told CNBC.

I always thought those who believed their data was safe because the app was China based was dumb, since Google showed that they'd comply with the Chinese government to operate in the country years ago.

So why would yet another billion dollar seeking app be different because of it being a different country when they are just as financially motivated to not protect your data but make money off you.

Google refused, as a consequence, are blocked by the Great Firewall. Microslop bent the knee and continues to operate until China gets an alternative going.
