These thugs break into his apartment to rough him up because he has the exact same name as a rich man whose trophy wife has been taking money from a loan shark/porn producer and they're trying to intimidate him into paying them back (by breaking his shit and drowning him in the toilet). Except the thugs are dumb asses who got the wrong Jeffery Lebowski.
Then they pee on his rug, which really tied the room together.
Also they're fucking Nazis.
