Yes I realize that. I guess my point is we shouldn’t respect their opinion. They’re partially responsible for getting us here and they’re just upset Trump isn’t doing fascism the way that makes them money.
You can't do fascism in a way that makes money on more than a very short-term basis; it's a system which guarantees stagnation and collapse over a period of years.
This was always the plan. They just weren't admitting it to themselves.
It's not just Republicans that rely on corporate funding. All of the right winger politicians do.
They have the ears of the politicians though. Something is threatening to make the line not go up, and that's upsetting to the capitalists. They would be OK if Trump just killed all the protesters as long as he promised a tax break to offset any economic difficulties during open bloodshed on the streets.
