Ok, you go first.
I'm not saying go out and shoot people. Hell no. I just want out of the country. I am not interested in being a fighter. My best advice is to do whatever you can to stay safe. I have ZERO fantasies of shooting ANYONE. The Federal Government's own training when you're being pursued is 1. Run, 2. Hide. 3. Fight. I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS recommend avoiding conflict whenever possible and to be as far away from conflict as possible.
That being said, I am someone who's trained with a firearm, and I'm the kind of person who can shoot a target multiple times and leave a single hole. I am also someone who has experienced having a team with multiple high-powered rifles with scopes trained on me at the same time. No, I'm not a criminal. It was a SWAT team and a case of mistaken identity, and you better DAMN well believe that my cool head and capable handling of the situation at the time resulted in me de-escalating the situation and being here today.
But if someone's breaking down your door (and I'm not specifically referring to ICE) and you're pretty sure you're going to die regardless of whether it's in your home or wherever they're going to take you next, I think it might be feasible for a significant number of people to hit a single person. It wouldn't just be one less person doing that to one victim, but that one less person doing it to many many other victims and potential victims.
I want to be perfectly clear. I have no intention of shooting anyone. And I'm not someone who's likely to be targeted.
There aren't millions of people busting down doors. Most of those people busting into people's homes and doing this stuff are people who have done this to more than one person.
I am in NO way advocating believing that you're some kind of vigilante and going out to hurt ANYONE right now. And I very much AM advocating running and getting out if at all possible.
PLEASE get out, if you can.
But if people react when their home is invaded, I understand it.
I gotta call BS. Such people dont actually exist when you're talking multiple shots. Unless you count tightly grouped holes that roughly overlap but also expand the "single" hole. Its extraorindarily remotely possible for it to happen once.
There's a reason why the left always ridiculed the right's fantasies of resisting the government with weapons.
I've never heard the left do that. That's pretty much always been liberals. Unless you mean ridicule the right for claiming to not be bootlickers.
Firstly, liberals are the left in the US, unless the context implies otherwise, but I get it, reading comprehenhion is difficult. Secondly, your argument is an anectodal fallacy.
