Haven't heard "alphabet people" in a while, but its just chuds being anti-LGBT as usual. This reminds me of something that happened here in Brasil in regards to AC Shadows:
[CW: anti-Trans rhetoric]
Outside the usual chud discourse about the game with these fuckers losing their mind because there's a black man playable, Yasuke who they swear never existed, because history is whatever they want it to be, and the other playable character, Naoe, who is a woman, which is enough for them to lose their minds, Ubisoft Brasil launched this insanely cool ad for the game as a tribute to Tokusatsu series, and the woman playing Naoe in the video is called Thaís Matsufugi. I don't know much about her, other than that she is Davy Jones' wife, a very well known chud gaming youtuber here (who is also a meme since he knows jack shit about games and only talks about GTA), and for some reason she started being target by gringos being transphobic to her, when she's not even trans, she's cis. I still don't understand how/why the fuck this happened. From what I have seen Ubisoft is cooked because they are just a shitty company making shitty decisions. Just recently they publicly shamed the studio that was doing the Prince Of Persia remake, assigned another studio, and now a few days ago just cancelled the project. They also created another company under them to manage their games promising it is to give the development teams more freedom, but they sold like a 1/4 or a 1/5 of it to Tencent, which just screams that they are not doing well. That alongside a bunch of project cancellations and well, you get the picture.
