I suppose he could be referring to how the allies did what they accuse the Red Army of doing - Theyremovedd and robbed their way through Europe. The soviets only get the accusation because they had the audacity to prosecute their molesters, while the west turned a blind eye.
and my grandfathers half-told stories from when he was stationed in Berlin in the late 40's. He was just 18 years old. He never talked about it a lot, but he said the americans were "rough" and more or less left it at that^[Same guy told a story about finding some local resitance folk lynching an SS officer in the woods at around the age of 15-16 and he felt like that was fine, so I can only imagine the americans must've been monsters]
I remember seeing some old crotchety historian talking about this, but I sadly can't find the video of his lecture anymore. Can't even remember his name. So now my only source is
