Saw some chuds still salty about AC Shadows on Reddit.
Ubisoft's problem is that lobotomized MBA's are leading the company. After the AC Unity disaster, they got a win in AC Origins and instead of learning the correct lessons which is that people want innovation, they just started spamming slop RPGs for all their major franchises.
Ubisoft still published some good games after that but the studios were rewarded with lay-offs and closures. I don't see any dev being happy to work at Ubisoft. It's just a step towards switching to a stable studio.
