I'm looking to switch from Google Photos to an alternative. Looked into Immich and Ente already, which have quite some reviews online. But have found little about Zeitkapsl. Anyone here have some experience?

Do you mean the uploaded images? They are end-to-end encrypted.

Sure, but whatever the method they use or how ever your app works, it's only temporary. You have no control of the future of what said company does, or laws they have to follow.

I'm just saying the internet should not be considered private if privacy is your concern.
