It would've been forgotten about in a week regardless if he had let it
Even if they get back together, the whole "friendship" theme of Tenacious D would feel completely fake and inauthentic on Black's part from then on.
You don't understand, he NEEDED that Minecraft movie to get the 60+ male conservative demographic otherwise it wouldn't be a four-quadrant movie!
