Not impossible, but I use bursts of about 30s max, it doesn't even get overly hot. Otherwise, something even scarier can happen - it may case harden ๐ฎ. Jokes aside, I've only done it for very specific occasions, perhaps a few times in my whole life. I'd invest in a kiln or just buy dry lumber to start with.
