See how stupid this sounds? I'm not going to the Greenland subreddit and apologizing, but I am certainly not at fault for this shit.
As much as it sounds stupid, this is exactly how most Westerners have viewed West Asia (and still do) since 9/11.
No it is not. It is how the media portrays West Asia, but most people do not view it that way. If you believe that then you are falling for media manipulation just as much as you say Americans are.
And it's wrong, is what I'm saying.
I must have missed the part where all Muslims elected Osama Bin Laden as their leader.
All americans DIDN'T elect Trump. He LOST the popular vote. Both times.
- @MotoAsh@piefed.social
You're only fueling 'dumb American' stereotype.
I'm not the same person, but this assumes he didn't cheat. Which in the past, he claimed he would and there are odd discrepancies. Not saying for sure it happened, but I would believe it if it came out that it did.
And how does this relate to the absolutely idiotic comparison with 9/11 in the original comment?
Trump is an elected head of state. Osama wasn't.
Too many salty Americans here
Yes, we're salty. We are under attack by our own government while being blamed by the rest of the world for it.
"That's your fault, stupid." - People in this thread.
Who did you vote for?
WhO dId YoU vOtE for?
Pleeeaaase shut the fuck up.
Too many ignorant fucks like you here. You are contributing to the problems that keep humanity divided. How do you feel knowing you're no better than a screeching Republican whining about what Europe is doing?
I was attempting to continue the thread, but you got upset and derailed it. Again, being rude doesn't make you any more right. My other comment was about painting with a broad brush. I'm not sure you understood what I was trying to say. If you did, you might not be so emotional.
77 million Americans is not the same as all Americans. Prior poster was dumb for saying Trump lost the popular vote in '24, but that still leaves 75 million people who actively voted against this and many more who voted 3rd party in states where the conclusion was pre-determined anyway (if you don't know what I'm talking about, read this).
Further, you need to understand that the US doesn't have legitimate left-wing political organization. The Democrats are more or less equivalent to most center-right parties in Europe (in action, if not in rhetoric) and The Republicans are the extreme right-wing. Actual leftists in the US are completely disenfranchised, constantly demonized in the public sphere, and ostracized by most of "polite" society. People who would be members of a leftist party if they lived in another country are mostly propagandized or demoralized into supporting the Democrats, who again, are a center-right party. This is a problem that predates Trump, so we don't even have a recent history of being able to effectively organize, win elections, or make our demands heard.
That's not "all Americans". Get back here with those goalposts.
Less than fifty isn't a majority. It's STILL not most Americans, you guilt-by-association bigoted moron.
