(Title corrected by a user) I mean, Mappy has a "lore". Dig Dug has a "lore". But I can't seem to find Bomberman lore.

Don't know about the old games but Bomberman 64 has a whole ass single player campaign. Can't remember the story. Can't even remember if I managed to beat it. But it was kinda cool.

I emulated it recently. Yeah it has a campaign but it doesnt really do world building that much. Still an awesome game tho.

Saturn Bomberman has a fun campaign you can play with a friend too.
