Unrelated 'cause it's not euro, but I can't let an alternate movie poster discussion go without mentioning the wonderful Ghanian school of hand painted movie posters.
Ah, those are great. Just bursting with character, whereas the American versions almost always tried for a slick, hip, power-based approach. Or something like that.
