I was playing around with making a video game that played like secret hitler, but you’d use chat bots instead of others people. And the feature was going to be making them sound like actual people with different stories you’d uncover.

The amount of prompting and text wrangling I had to do to make it not sound like an over eager robot made me drop it. When it spit out a “if you like, I can show you different ways to identify XYZ” I lost it.

Kind of, yes, but you can teach it to write less. I instructed it, to answer only Yes or No with a brief explanation, if there is not much need to add sonething in my context.

That doesn't mean the answers get better though. ^^
