Browsing the Minnesota subreddit, there are still an overwhelming majority of people that seem to think that the local cops or even the national guard would help protect them from ICE, because "they are our neighbors" or that the higher ups may be a problem but the lower rank and file are "just ordinary Americans" who would obviously never follow an unjust order against their own community/countrymen. Some may persist in deep denial, but I think there's a lot of people that are ripe for radicalization as soon as they find out these people are not there to protect you, will not protect you, and absolutely will follow any orders they are given. They are not on our side and people really need to see that for themselves first hand. They are about to.
