Yea, it stops escalating when white people learn to embrace the new Gestapo and go back to work while everyone else is terrorized by ICE. Maybe I'm just feeling cynical but I think nothing will happen without active organization of this energy.

People like to throw out "cynic" as a thought-terminating cliche against ideas they find scary, ideas that conflict directly with their own idiosyncratic idealism.

A material analysis of present conditions leads the vast majority of Hexbears to see that this shit is going to get exceptionally worse before it has even the faintest chance of getting better. That's not being cynical, it's just called the immortal science of dialectical materialism.
