wow.

there it is.

you just put that out there, like you actually meant to. with all the charisma and delivery of a wet fart.

It is absurd the number of people who legit cannot identify sarcasm without the SpongeBob text or a flashing red "/s" tag.

Chill the fuck out lmao.

nah just use the /s tag, I'm great at picking up on sarcasm via text. Your fault, stop bitching about what you've reapt and sowed.

Yep. All great jokes conclude with a "just joking". Brevity is the bane of wit.

Well, you see, the way human communication works is that we use details from our surroundings called "context". A big part of that context is what's called "human expression", which includes "facial expressions" and "hand gestures", which we use to "indicate" that we are joking.

That's the purpose of tone indicators. Sorry, you're wrong, ending a comment with /s does nothing to reduce the effectiveness of the joke.

Is... is this sarcasm?

The /s is like wearing a condom. Yeah it's safer, but sometimes you just need to live dangerously.

how would you incorporate vasectomys into this analogy?

Unfortunately, Poe's Law

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago
